This page presents information on a joint fire study effort on the effects of fire in wetlands, conducted at the Disney Wilderness Preserve (DWP) in Kissimmee, FL. The DWP is a 12,000 acre site managed by The Nature Conservancy for wetland restoration. In our study, we are analyzing both wildfires and prescribed burns.
